We decided it has been a while since we have gone to the Aquarium, so when Dan had a change of plans today that left the rest of us with an open schedule, we "looked at fishies" instead.
The kids loved everything--the indoor exhibits, the outdoor tidepools (sea stars and sea cucumbers are a hit), and especially the water current exhibit (boat races galore). The only downer was when Rigel got stung by a bee outside the museum as we were making our exit. In his distress, he wailed for a lollipop, and then when that was declined, an ice cream. I'm going to have to keep an eye on him, because for a 3 year old he sure knows how to "work it."
